Astura advised Vista Group in the acquisition of Société Générale subsidiaries in Congo and Equatorial Guinea
| Astura acted as Vista Bank Group’s counsel in the acquisition of a controlling interest in Société Générale’s subsidiaires in each of the Republic of Congo (Société Générale Congo - SGC), and Equatorial Guinea (Société Générale de Banques de Guinée Equatoriale - SGBGE). The acquisition of these two banks, which is subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities, marks a further step in the geographical expansion of the Vista Group's banking network, which is already present in Burkina Faso, Guinea (Conakry), Gambia and Sierra Leone, thus contributing to the Vista Group's goal of becoming a world-class pan-African bank. |
