Astura is advising Vista Group on its acquisition of Oragroup, a banking group listed on the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) and operating in 12 African countries

Astura advised Vista Group on the signing of an agreement with ECP, BIO, DEG, Proparco and Envol Afrique, for the acquisition of a majority stake in Oragroup, subject to regulatory approvals.

Oragroup is listed on the BRVM and present in 12 countries in West and Central Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, and Togo), representing four currency zones and over 170 branches and sales outlets.

Vista Group is advised by Astura and Deloitte.

The sellers are advised by BNP Paribas and Cleary Gottlieb.
