Astura advises the cleantech Tallano Technologies on its €10 million fundraising

Astura advised Tallano Technologies, a French company specialising in the capture of fine particulate matter generated by braking systems, on its €10 million fundraising round from its existing shareholders—MEAC (Mirova / Banque Populaire), EcoTechnologie 2 (Bpifrance) and PRVF (Karista / Région Île-de-France)—as well as several European family offices.

Founded more than ten years ago, Tallano Technologies has developed TAMIC, a proprietary technology designed to capture fine particles emitted by automotive and rail braking systems.

This new financing round, which involved a restructuring of the share capital, will fund the market roll-out of TAMIC ahead of the entry into force of the Euro 7 standard, which will introduce new emission limits for heavy-duty vehicle manufacturers in Europe from 2030. The transaction reflects Tallano Technologies’ ambition to become a leading European player in the fight against fine particulate emissions.

Astura advised Tallano Technologies on the structuring and execution of the transaction with a Corporate team led by Raphaël Dalmas (Partner), Alma Nicolaï (Senior Associate) and Marilyne Benoit (Associate).
