Identifying and registering beneficial owners, a new obligation for all companies
The so-called "Sapin II" law of December 9th 2016 set forth a new obligation for all companies and legal entities registered in France with the Commercial Registry to (i) obtain, (ii) keep a record of, and (iii) register with the Commercial Registry their "beneficial owners".
